Sprinting on the tracks of life
Tasting, always, the sweetness of success
Sweating and toiling to avoid losses
By walking on the blade of knife.
From the time I opened my eyes,
Success followed me as a dark black shadow.
Embodiments of success
Akbar, Asoka, and Alex
Become my very own ancestors.
The petty sciences were a child’s play
Topping the class, always, I was happy and gay
Music, art, dance, and, else
Couldn’t be left behind
Everything and field I touched
Turned to be of Midas’s
Showering gold and success.
Marks were poured on my answer sheet
Dozens of goals were kicked in the field
My bat sent balls, hit the stars…
…moon…Venus…and also mars.
Numerous medals hung around my neck
Made my chest heavy with pride and honor.
Various cups and trophies, I lifted high
Made my teeth shine in joy.
My eyes stared only at success, more
I couldn’t even dream to lose.
BUT
This day I stay on my knees
To accept my “First Defeat”
Oh! My love, you won over my heart
And you made me lose to your beauty……..!
